The developed toolkit enables initiatives to recognise and describe:
1) the values driving their activities,
2) the values produced through these activities, and
3) to communicate these internally and externally for a more resilient position.
Insights from the testing sessions indicate that the outcome’s communicative process enabled the participants to reflect on their positioning and roles as well as to express the values their work generates and frame and reframe the benefits of their work. In addition, the visual representation of the values can benefit funding applications, or – by co-playing it with external partners like municipalities or other political actors – foster the appreciation and recognition of the values. Its format is accessible and further adaptable to similar initiatives beyond the region. We seek to offer it as an open-source tool for all interested stakeholders dealing with social values.
